Homeland workers: jobs, hauling & storage
Match Aniimo to facility tasks and understand how hauling and storage support production.

How to get Aniimo working in your Homeland
Start with the facility's recipe and current production stage, then choose an Aniimo with the required Home Ability. A strong combat companion is not automatically the right worker. The production tutorial says a facility displays the ability needed for its current stage after you set its recipe; meeting the recommended ability level improves efficiency.
Set up one working production line
- Place a production facility and open its details.
- Set a recipe. The tutorial explicitly requires this before the facility can proceed.
- Make sure the ingredients are in the Home warehouse.
- Read the Home Ability and recommended level displayed for the current stage.
- Assign an eligible Aniimo, then watch the production details to confirm progress.
Check requirements again when the recipe or production stage changes. The instruction refers to the current stage, so one worker's suitability is not a guarantee for every task the facility may perform.
Why a worker cannot be assigned
The client distinguishes three assignment messages:
| Message or situation | What to check |
|---|---|
| The Aniimo lacks the required ability | Compare its Home Abilities with the current stage's requirement |
| The facility already has enough workers | Inspect the existing assignments before adding another Aniimo |
| The Aniimo is working elsewhere | Decide whether moving it will interrupt a job you still need |
The third message is a reassignment confirmation, not proof that the Aniimo can perform both jobs at once. Review its existing job before confirming. The Home Ability overview also lets you inspect which abilities are represented in your Homeland, making it useful when one production stage has no suitable worker.
Finished goods need hauling
Production and delivery are separate parts of the setup. The Storage Unit item description says that placing it in Home lets Aniimo with Hauling move stockpiled facility products into the Home warehouse.
If a facility has finished goods but the warehouse has not received them, inspect those stockpiles, the Storage Unit, and your Hauling coverage. Adding another production worker does not directly answer a delivery problem. The client also offers collecting products yourself or waiting for a hauler; choose whichever fits the task you are completing.
Check environment and power where required
Some production setups need an environmental facility to cover the production facility with its area of effect. For electric processing, the tutorial describes Crackle Generators, Lightning-type Aniimo, and Power Poles. A processing facility must be within the power supply area, and poles extend that coverage. The shared grid's supply rate affects efficiency.
These are checks for facilities using those systems, not extra requirements for every early recipe. If an electric line is slow, examine coverage and supply before replacing all its workers. The September 23 update notice added an E-Mode switch in Home Management → Production Area → Facility Management.
Once a single line works, Home Management can help you change recipes or upgrade matching facilities in batches. Build from a working example so a missing ingredient, ability, or delivery step is easier to identify.
Browse the Aniimo index when comparing companions. For combat moves rather than production abilities, read unlocking skills; for Home Hatchinators, read egg hatching.
